The American School of Bangkok extends a cordial invitation to you for our Songkran celebrations and activities on Thursday, April 11th 2019 at Sukhumvit Campus from 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.
The schedule of the day is as follows:
7:30 a.m. Grade 1 - 12 School Assembly at the Basketball Court / Thai National Anthem
7:35 a.m. MC Introduce Songkran Traditional Water Ritual
7:40 a.m. Students pour water on teachers palms as part of Songkran traditional respect.
8:15 a.m. End of Songkran Traditional Water Ritual / Students return to classes.
We kindly request parents, teachers, staff and students to wear floral shirts and / or Thai costumes to this traditional Thai cultural event.
