学术进展情况评量

曼谷美国学校使用学术进展情况(MAP)进行全校性评估程序,作为从幼儿中班到十一年级所有学生年级的外部测试计划。 MAP是一个计算机化自动适应测试,帮助教师、家长和校务管理阶层来评量学生学习结果并作出明智的决定,藉以提高全体学生之学习,以促进孩子的学术学习成长。

MAP的设计目标在于评量学生的数学、阅读和科学学习成果。这些测试针对评估个人当前的成绩水平。此测试给于每个学生一个公平的机会来展示所知及所能。MAP被用来衡量学生的在校进步情況或生长状況。因为测试结果让老师知道学生的学习成果优势为何,及得知于何特定领域提供帮助,是教师们重要的引导指标。教师们利用这些信息来帮助学生在课堂上学习得更得心应手。
