The American School of Bangkok is delighted to announce the Sukhumvit Fair.

Objective:
The American School of Bangkok (ASB) organizes the ‘Sukhumvit Fair’ each year in  order to celebrate the cultural diversity, promote international cohesiveness within our community, and allow the school to reach out to the greater community with genuine humanitarian spirits for “those who are in need” by providing a fund-raising venue for a Thai or international charitable program.

The Fair:
The Sukhumvit Fair will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at The American School of Bangkok (Sukhumvit 49-3) from 11:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. This year the Sukhumvit Fair embraces an American hip hop theme, and the event features an exquisite international cuisine; spectacular stage performances by students, teachers and guests; fun children’s games and prizes; an exclusive shopping arena; cartoon mascots; children's play zone; and live music and band. Net proceeds from the Sukhumvit Fair event will be forwarded to AMCHAM Adopt-a-School Program.

The American School of Bangkok extends an invitation to everyone in the community to attend the fair. The Sukhumvit Fair is open to the public free of admission.

Brief History:
The American School of Bangkok held its first Fun Fair in 1995. Following success and steady growth, the event was renamed the ‘Sukhumvit Fair’ to suit our aim of bringing unity to our richly diverse community. Previous fairs accommodated 5,000 visitors. The net proceeds generated from prior Sukhumvit Fairs were used to support different causes such as UNICEF; tsunami relief foundations; the Chai Pattana Foundation; the Foundation of Thai Elephant Conservation; the Home for the Blind with Multiple Disabilities at Ram-intra; the provincial schools under the AMCHAM Adopt-a-School program; the Prostheses Foundation of HRH the Princess Mother; the Green World Foundation; local slums in Bangkok areas; and support the medical treatment of patients suffering from leukemia.

Level of Participation:
An individual, companies, organizations and embassies are welcome to participate in the ‘Sukhumvit Fair’ by: donating money and or prizes for our game booths / special raffle; renting booth space to promote your company product or service; and advertising on our website, and event booklet.
