MUN Conferences 2018 Round Up

Green Valley Campus MUNsters attended a total of six conferences throughout the year and the club saw the number of individuals participating grow from only ten students in 2017 to 23 students in 2018. This year was also the first time ASB had multiple students serving as Chairs, or leaders of committees, in the larger-scale conferences typically dominated by schools such as NIST, ISB and Bangkok Pattana. It is clear we are definitely becoming a more powerful force in the MUN community!

To end the season, students participated in the both the ISE MUN and THAIMUN conferences at the end of March. The ISE MUN is always a favorite amongst students, as we spent a night in a hotel and usually do some fun activities. This year the students went to Ramayana Waterpark in Pattaya to spend the day catching some sun and trying out the rides! It was definitely a great way to reward everyone that’s worked so hard this MUN season. One of our rookie’s, Ali Mehdi, also won Best Delegate of his committee!

If your child is interested in joining the Green Valley MUN team, spots are always open for students in Grades 8-12. It’s never too late to join and see if you have what it takes to be the next best delegate! Conferences are already popping up for 2018 and hopefully another international trip is in the making. Please contact Mrs. Alissa Kordprom at if you are interested!
