The American School of Bangkok is pleased to announce that the U17 Boys’ Basketball team is the new BISAC Champions. The team had a phenomenal tournament filled with excitement, passion and determination. At first the team was losing the final game by 17 points, but with the coach’s inspirational speech of, “Never quit!” and all the extraordinary support from teachers, parents and students, the boys mounted the biggest comeback and won the championship. This was indeed a united ASB effort which capped an outstanding basketball season.
The school expresses huge thanks to all the coaches who prepared the boys not only with the necessary physical skills, but also with the mental armor to fight through right to the end.
