Loy Krathong Celebrations 2010-2011 |

The American School of Bangkok celebrated the traditional Thai festival - "Loy Krathong" - on Friday, November 19th 2010. Many students, teachers, and parents came beautifully dressed in traditional Thai costumes to mark the occasion.
The events of the day included a parade of students in Thai costumes, traditional Thai skits and dances by students, making and then floating the Krathongs that were made in the classrooms. The day was fun-filled and an enjoyable one with the exhibition of the beauties of the “Land of Smiles".

The Model United Nations (or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about civics, current events, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. |
